The other day I see in Instagram (you know that I live there now… What a discovery!) a strategy to make dictations in a playful way. #opo_englishteacher was the instagrammer I saw this idea, and I decided to develop it a little more, and graduate the sentences in different levels.
You can use these short sentences to make dictations in class. The students can tell the sentence to another one. In groups, you can give the sentence to one group and make one student say and the other write. When they finish, they can change the sentence with another group. Also you can make races: you put the paper with the sentences in differente places of the classroom, and one person from each group goes there and tries to learn it to remember. Then they come back to their groups and say to the other students, who have to write it. The group with less mistakes, wins!
I have uploaded this material to my new store at Tpt that you can find in this link:
You only have to print and laminate, if you prefer for them to last. And you can find the resource for the level 1 for free! Also there, there are the materials for levels 2 and 3.
Thank you #opo_englishteacher for the great ideas you have.
Let me know if you use this in your classes.
